Sangha

The Buddha’s disciple, Ananda, once enthusiastically declared, “This is half of the holy life, Lord: admirable friendship, admirable companionship, admirable camaraderie.” The Buddha replied, “Don’t say that, Ananda. Don’t say that. Admirable friendship, admirable companionship, admirable camaraderie is actually the whole of the holy life.”

Dharma Study Groups

The Kalyana Mitta (spiritual friends) network was created to serve our sangha interested in having safe and on-going support of “admirable people as friends, companions, and comrades” to develop and pursue the spiritual path.

Honolulu Group: Tuesdays, 5-7 PM at Mu Ryang Sa Temple, Great Hall. Facilitator: Natalie Scarborough

Written Reflections

The Buddhist worldview is deep and profound. While it is difficult to capture it with words, we will always attempt to do so, bringing our own perspective and meaning to it. How do others on the Path interpret Buddhism and its impact in their lives?
